The bold contemporary design of these striking dangly earrings contrasts utilitarian black rubber with hand-worked Britannia silver. There’s a subtle flavour of Art Deco style in the asymmetric semi-circular form, with a strongly hammered texture on the inside surface evoking the sun’s rays bursting out from shadow.
- Made from Britannia silver and black rubber, with handmade silver details and wires.
- The earrings hang about 5cm below the ears.
- Light but strong, thanks to the hammer technique of anticlastic raising [LINK].
- Produced at my Hove studio.
These earrings with their combination of the industrial and the precious will draw the eye and proclaim your unorthodox style. They belong to the same collection as the Eclipse pendant [LINK] and brooch [LINK], and like them can be worn with any outfit – however special the occasion. Give them as a gift to mark a major anniversary or birthday or a big life milestone, or simply treat yourself to something a little out of the ordinary.
